I'm considering purchasing a 2018 114 Anniversary Fat Boy. What parts and labor should I plan on doing to prevent and damage to the motor and transmission? Thanks in advance for the answers!
Ese daño se generó por forzar la transmisión derivado del cambio de banda por cadena, cierto ?
i would think up to stage 2 would be ok without a drivetrain upgrade. 3 and 4 however may require these upgrades to avoid failure.
Does the twin cam feature this same style transmission removal (cassette) or?
Block head is so clueless lol. Everybody knows brake cleaner is not just for brakes
Went from binge watching your videos to teach me how to ride my sportster 4 or 5 years ago to watching you slap in a transmission in your own shop. Sick growth. Not a better channel for motorcycle stuff out there, keep up the good work. P.S. have a dyna now and work for HD
Chris on the 131ci bike with the new baker transmission I noticed what looks like lights behind the seat, what are they?
Love the shop and the video content guys. Congratulations and look forward to getting my bike worked on there one day.
how loud will that straight cut be????
If i may ask @ 15:37 what are the chrome cans on the back?
I’m surprised the solid sprocket stayed in..
How much are those transmissions?
Maybe I missed it in the video, with the ration and gears being different, were there any issue with the gear indicator or speedo?
If only I can find someone that can fix my Anti Lock breaking with new lines and new hydraulic res and pistons. All in a way that doesn't trigger break light on the gages. Can you do that? I'll do the lines and reservoir… If it would help
How can you get all that HP to the ground it's gotta be over killer it already had some serious HP now a turbo
I gotta say one thing for Harley; they're easier to work on. Can you imagine how involved a similar repair would be on a Honda?
Just like with cars: when you start trying to get more power you better be prepared to start breaking parts
digging this video series! looking forward to more motor talk! don't forget to subscribe folks!
I'm pretty sure the 60% viewers who aren't subscribed are older gen x, and every flat earther, or person's with schizophrenia, who don't want the government to monitor them and give them the mark of the beast. Lol.
Sounds like you guys are scientists
The bike is hardly two years old and half of the drivetrain is already replaced. Dang
Very nice content and very informative. My question is installing the star racing compensator ramp and the Aims Variable pressure clutch will it strengthen the drivetrain.
I am going threw this exact same problem as him and I has gears come apart to. And you have me confident about putting in a grudge box now
Alright, I subbed; don’t disappoint me.
Great vid here BTW!
I jugged my triglide to 131 and the big intake and the midrange cam with a rekluse clutch and pingle shifter. Within a couple of months my gearbox went crunch. I was in little bits and shards. I got a Grudge box and sent it in to be cryo-tempered and will run that and see if it gets crunchy.
" Baker = Ba//z Out…" ! Been running one in my Merch 120… No Problems. Period. KUDO'S gentlemen, lol, you killed the trans AND THE VIDEO!
Respectfully, Seth
I liked and subscribed from the first video I watched. Y'alls videos kick so much ass. This one's no exception.
Been watching for awhile normally i sub and thought i did till just now!
Thank you for that analogy I've been telling so many people that putting a chain and deleting your compensator or putting some other type of performance compensator and running around ramping on your throttle burnouts release taking it to the track and keep blowing up Baker transmissions there has to be a common denominator why isn't that all these guys will build engines that put chain drive keep blowing their transmissions even though they have Baker grudge box transmissions
I am planning on doing a stage 2 on my 2022 m8 with the wood 22xe cam for high torque at low rpm’s. It showed about 132 lb-ft of torque. Does the tranny need to be upgraded or is the factory tranny good with the torque level I am looking at?
What does the Baker trans cost?
