Ice vehicles, one run and done
ICE: Goes…a bit, stops, heats up, wait 1 hour, breaks up… Tesla: go, go, go, go, go, go, go
What’s the typical cost to build one of those trailered 9 second cars? Not counting maintenance, constant repairs, fuel, etc? The Plaid has a warranty, can be a daily driver and can be resold without much depreciation.
You give a lot of courtesy to those higher hp builds just so you are able to get in some good runs! i would not show as much mercy lol
Andrew, It was a lot of fun watching you run that Silverado down. Great race.
Just think of all the time spent modifying their vehicles money they spend on them, also the separate expense for hauling the race cars to the track and still get beat by a vehicle that could be used daily. Deep down inside it really irks them badly but they put a good face.
Seems like more people are warming up to the Tesla. Great vids including chats.
fun fact: this was filmed on jan 12, which was my birthday
That Silverado was very fast for a Pickup. That one may be a great heads up race against my MX Plaid. We are only about .1 apart.. Hope to be able to run against him one day.
Some serious competition. Great drag race action. That 68 Firebird was gorgeous.
Down to brass tacks. Most ICE can’t compete with Plaid with minimal weight reduction
This has to make you laugh these cars you race or not even street legal and you drive home with your car
Really exciting races Andrew! They were definitely close enough that you couldn't give them much leeway. That short Mustang racer clip looks downright scary!
Great runs Andrew!
