Grudge Race / Huge Payout to Winner / You will not believe this!

Biggest GRUDGE race ever! I was planning on making a test pass, but Randy had other plans. He got us a grudge race with one of the fastest cars on the property! I hope he has the ability to pay this guy if things go south and we loose! Jonathan Mitchell and Billy Gordon have one fast hot rod and we are gonna take them on. Let’s try to get a persona best out of this thing, and look at some spark plugs as well.

  1. Driver did a great job on both passes. The other car in the other lane also had a pretty much perfect pass. The loss was not that great. A little more boost after one second and it would have been a different story. You have to take the conditions of the track and the air which made those two passes really good. You need to get a piece of wood with a piece of rubber on the bottom. Put an eyelet on one end and a fish scale at the end of the rope and check traction. People will laugh. Who cares! It will give you a better idea and more data.

  2. This car is way to fast to keep losing, so dyno the girl and let’s start winning! And be the biggest bear at the track, so people say oh no I’ve got Randy’s Mustang!

  3. Man, that's it, I certainly need to get the Holley ECU setup now (that a friend Greg Hogue has been urging me to move to), along with an A/F ratio setup, as I have been locked out of the data forever, and I need my plugs to be able to be read like those. Only having half as many makes it even harder. Used plugs with a couple few runs on em or not, those are super readable.

And my no longer a nearly 90K miles on pistons, rings, bearings, and cyl. walls, etc. Should certainly help after the build is completed.

Only number 5 looks different on what I can see on the video, but reading them live would be 10 times better than a video. But, from multiple passes, you are close, if not a little lean.

  4. John, you may be interested in a new EFI University that has opened up out my way in Lake Havasu City, AZ (Northwest AZ), about 125 miles southeast of Las Vegas, NV.), EFIU, they have some of the greatest teaching machines ever invented at their school, just 1 called "The Spinmaster", think hub dyno for the engine, to check out what goes on in the block and valve train, imagine taking the rods and pistons out of a brand new engine, and instead of engine turning the dyno, the dyno spins the engine with cameras watching everything internally.

They turn want to be tuners into EFI certified masters they say, both online courses, and in person 5 day classes, not cheap, but effective. And the learning tools they have are not only expensive, but one of a kind. Watched em on YT vids run a very expensive Big block on port injection first run without the Hat and blower, then took the entire manifold off, and used just injector flow and pulse as the throttle, running with the heads runners wide open to the atmosphere, and did dyno pulls with it. Was an amazing concept, would like to see the new adjust cam duration on the fly system a certain foreign car manufacturer recently developed over the last 8 years, tested with that theory of no throttle body or blade needed.

That is the kind of wild experimentation they do at EFIU. If you ever decide to attend, and push yourself further, I have a place to lay your head, not far away temporarily. (We have a spare room, and a spare car to get yourself back and forth, as LHC is about 1 hr. away, 100 miles northwest is Vegas).

I am not affiliated with them, but want to be.

  5. What’s up with the videos recently? Literally one pass with 5-6 different camera angles.. I miss the old videos where it was a bunch of racing. I’m a big fan I’m not being a hater but I bet your views would go up if you stopped showing all the different angles snd started showing more racing

  6. Man O man TJ Super Cool to see Randys hotrod Startin to come around Ur deal about reading plugs was supr helpful and stright to the Point thanks yall b SAFE CHAMP
