Did you take both axels from the Ranger? I heard you’re suppose to take the driver side from a Ranger and the passenger side from a Ford Aerostar from 1986-97. Is that Correct?

One thing I got lucky with my $1500 capri roller is it had a stock location 9” swap with 4.30s
So 2 drivers side axles can be used on a stock foxbody?

Good point about the wiring harnesses, sometimes an old OEM part is still better quality than an aftermarket cheap-o. If an axle ever gives a fight, use the drum on the lugnuts as a slide hammer. Before you slide that "new" axle in, dip a cord in some paint, get it straight out, and use a plumb bob to "paint" a nice straight line down the axle. in the future, you'll know in a jiffy if the axle got pretzel'd if the line twists like a barber pole on visual inspection.
