He has a lot of nice cars, that turbo coupe would be a fun car. Your GTA has different heads on it than the grand national. They were made just for pontiac. At least everything I have read about them has stated the heads were different, and they made a little more power than the Buicks. The Trans in your limited should be the 200r4. Again, they were stronger than the 700r4, and more parts are or were made to strengthen them.

Had 86 regal in 87 great car . Had the 307 Pontiac . Great hey roller. Used to leave 5.0 mustangs behind on hey running wide open. But was not a light to light car. Top end was very surprising for the day.

I’m 56 and still love talking to the older guys about cars and then hearing you young guys with your stories it’s an awesome age to be get to see the old school stuff and the new high tech stuff I’d love to hang out with you guys for a day or so I’m a car guy that just doesn’t have any lol

If you want to keep the lowered look then go to your local NAPA and they have what we called a can kit .. it's a tube spacer and cup and plate that goes on the axle under the spring. You can cut the tube spacer to any length you want and it will raise the height up anywhere from an inch up to I think it was 4 inches.. I did just that on a 64 chevelle. It's cheap and won't change the spring rate.
Had a 1986 t type t top, cab, turbo. Love it. Rebuild the 3.8 with new trimming cover with melion gears, packed them with tube grease so I could get oil pressure. It lasted about 4000 miles and back out and in with 305 out Monta Carlo SS. Still got turbo and that intake that went with the 3.8. Thank the world of you guys, living your dreams and seeing them come true. Just remember be safe and sky is the limit.
