Amazing!!! What a gift of a car!!! Can’t wait to see what you do with it Derek!!!
Land yachts aren't usually my thing but that 68 Bonneville is beautiful. It deserves a full-on restoration. That could make a neat series of videos for the channel. Whatever you decide to do with it, I'm sure it will be fun to watch.
Did this come from Alabama by chance? I had a friend whose grandfather used to own one identical to this. I believe it sat in his shop for the better part of a decade after he passed. If this is the same one, it was pristine back in the early 2000s. Looks just like it.
Had a 66 and a 67. Miss them
Finally!!! A Pontiac!!!! I'm going to save this video for when I can give it my full attention. My very first car was a 68 GTO when I was 15 (1983) I've had a bunch since then.
69 Tempest
68 Tempest
77 Grand Prix
84 Grand Prix GT
91 Sunbird GT
08 G8
73 Lemans
73 Grand Am
68 GTO
and a few more I can't remember right now.
The old gal's in such good shape, looks like she's a candidate for the old "keep 'er originalitize-s-s-s-s"….
I hope your Family is safe after the bouts with tornado's came through.
What more do you need, Monday morning, sunshine, derek fixing cars, crazy humour, best start to my week… thank you for all your hard work and dedication, ❤
Another great video
Love that car! Great job getting this back up and running! That will be a beautiful car to CRUISE in!
After seeing a guy like SAMCRAC struggling to get his hoopties to work and failing…… guys like Derek make me happy again. This guy is a miracleworker.
Nice! I had a 1965 Grand Prix. 389 Cubic Inches of American V8. It would take a feller a week and a half to wash and wax it, it was so big! Thanks for the memories.
No car should be this good. Hints of a demonic possession is a high probability.
I think it has been staying fresh and waiting for you and will take your soul.
Who knows what happened to the last poor person that tried to get it running… Funny they didn't take all that expensive kit with them?? Just Sayin.
I would love to see more in this Bonneville. I love the big boats!
My dad had that same year , but his was white, I loved that car !
I'm happy that everyone is safe .
How long a month or 2 at least.
Once done, there are no payments once done.
A6 twin turbo setup would be nice.
Or even if you get creative, twin turbo w8 set up.
Just happ all are safe.
Keep this one Derek! It's in waaaaaay to nice of shape to let it go! Next year's power tour car!!!
Dang and my dad has one in his barn
Awesome video, might be my favorite revival video you have done, absolutely love the mid 60s early 70s big body GM'S
Love it!
needs the full blown treatment. too good of a boat not to do a complete restoration. love the channel and your great family!
Beautiful! I owned a 68 Grand Prix, bought it from an old man I knew.
Don't take the American weather for granted. If that was sitting in a field in the UK, or even in a barn, the weather here would have turned that to rust back in the 80s 🙁
Great work. That car looks pretty damn good. As usual, your work is first class
Wow love this episode! This was to easy! I remember driving big cruisers like this when I was a teenager. Thank Derek for the great content! I think this should be a “going to town car”!
watched the part of you falling down after blowing into the fuel line 10x…..your kids must have a blast with you.
I drove a 67 Impala SS 327 in high school and can attest to how big that trunk is. It was massive!
How do I get tickets to the danger ranger race at Bristol… all I can find is the $80 driver entrance fee???
We had one of these when I was a kid. Baby blue 68 convertible white top and white leather interior, factory true wire spoke wheels. I believe it had a 400. Awesome car felt like you was floating down the road
Man I saw Derek at the freedom 500 but he didn’t do a meet and greet with the fans. sucks but it was still cool to see him
I say leave it alone other than driving it
I wouldn't mind seeing more of this one. Cool old ride!!
She's a beaut! Do her up right!!
Intrested in doing a early 80s dodge power wagon in SC? Almost 20 years parked due to bad gas mileage.
BTW the "Roadworthy" wrecker was there in the parking lot at the time.
Great car.
Lil more cowbell
Very very cool
