Come hell or high water, the v8 turbo jetski will startup in this video! Just back from taking the v8 turbo jetski to Ls Fest in Las Vegas and we are finishing up the ski. With our sights set on first startup with the turbo setup on the v8 jetski. Many things did not go as planned. It took a while in real time, but in video time its going to go real quick.

2. A layer or two of kevlar under the seat wouldn't hurt, lol but it's your legs that would take it if the SHTF.
A how many rpms u getting I would get billet block 2jz bigger cam turbo nozzle jets for injectors be different n crankshaft 4 to 2 pistons compression with braided springs in valve and solid head no water n roller or ball bearings to get 10000 plus rpms
Off topic… Has Jacob or any of you stellar dudes, Dropped a Yamaha (waverunner) 500cc engine into a JS hull? Don't ask… lol. Im wondering, before I pull a good running 500 out of the perfectly good Waverunner. (if theres such a thing)Is the bedplate on the 500 the same as the 650/701. If thats the case. Rhass would sell the kit? Can't find any info online about a 440/ Yamaha 500 swap. Thanks guys. Great video aswell!
Looks great! Just FYI you don't need a BOV. I know alot of people say otherwise, but I've never run one for over 20 years now on MANY turbo setups. Never had an issue. Similar to the buick grand nationals never coming with one from the factory, yet they last for hundreds of thousands of miles. May clear up some space anyway! Nothing wrong with the silicone charge pipe either. Flex in the system is good. Have you looked into barrel style A2W intercoolers? May be an easy fit/fix.
Also for what its worth I run E85 and no intercooler at 15lbs all the time. see about 210* chage temps, which is nothing for E85.

It appears that the turbine vanes are not spinning freely from the way it stops so fast, maybe just check that?

I'm pretty sure you put the injector length adapters on the wrong side they should be on the rail side.
It might hinder spray pattern

You have a lovely looking family and it’s great to see your daughter wanting to get out there and help daddy. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my oldest daughter into cars but guess what I was able to get my youngest daughter into the world of automotive easily. She’s able to fix her own car and change the oil. Now that I have a 3 month old granddaughter I have every intention of getting her involved with cars too.
On another note it’s awesome to see that you got it running. That thing is gonna be a beast!

I remember a guy was killed by the flywheel coming out of his jet boat. The guy was upset and trying to get his boat ready for the lake. The guy was at the parts store and leaned over the back of his boat riving the motor when the flywheel came out. The witnesses said it cut him in haft right in front of his wife a kids.
