  1. Pretty sure the insurance have it that way to protect the main building and such incase something happens to a car.

    Like what happened in North Wilkesboro a year or so ago where the Mustang hit the scoring monitor so imagine that was the scoring stand or something in that area.

  2. The thing about guardrail tracks is the guardrails are directional.
    They have a very knowledgeable Insurance guy who knew you can’t race the wrong direction on a guardrail track. I’m a retired state certified fabricator and I built miles of guardrail posts.
    When you install the guardrails on the posts you overlap it with the exposed end facing the same direction you are traveling. This way if you get into the rail you will slide down it and slowly come to a stop. If you’re going the other direction your car will snag the exposed end of the rail and it will try to stop you in your tracks from whatever speed you’re traveling.
    It can impale the car and that’s bad news brother. See ya at the track.
