It was clear that John couldn't make the pass so Ryan had to lift to let him win. This will come back to bite them. And I mean in the ratings. They know Ryan has the best reputation and that people will believe whatever story from his camp, but this was too much.
This was a plot from discovery, if ryan won the great 8 it would seal the championship which means ratings for the last npk would be very low
