Have never seen one of the small tire locals winning after taking a big head start. The traction just isn’t as good out there. Best bet to win is to set the outlaw out and make them wait until the small tire car reaches them. Have seen 2 or 3 locals win this way.
I just cant see this show being successful.

Why did they start in the middle of the track ?
The local racer lost before ever letting go of the button. He lost when he agreed to set himself out in front of the starting line where the traction is much worse than at the starting line.
