  1. Kinda bummed to hear your thought on this one, you are a far better rider than me and you're not stoked with it 🙁 Mine arrives tomorrow, shit and was really hoping you'd be in love with it just looking at the specs. One thought on the pads, why don't you sand that foam edge down with some lower grit sandpaper to make it more comfortable? Thumbs up on the video Dawn, always cool to hear your thoughts on these wheels!

  2. And no words about Sherman S as if it doesn't exist at all. Sherman S is definitely better than Master, v13, S22 and all that stuff. And for more than hour we didn't hear your attitude towards it. Why didn't you consider it at all when you're talking about new powerful wheels?

  3. I’m surprised you have stability issues with this wheel. Other reviewers have raved about how stable it is at high speeds due to the batteries being placed lower than other wheels giving the wheel a lower center of gravity. I was considering this wheel until I seen your video. Now I’m more unsure of what wheel I want than ever. Great insight on various aspects of this wheel.

  4. I finally get my ex30 this coming Tuesday and have been extremely excited for months. But now that excitement has gone away between hearing about the issues with the batteries & range.

I was expecting you to be excited after riding the ex30 like you first were after riding the commander pro.

  5. Hello Dawn. I would like to ask few questions. It would be great if you could respond to them

    1) Just when cruising: How do you qualify the pleasure of riding comparing to the master and the Commander Pro ?
    2) When accelerating from 0, can you describe and compare with the master and the Commander Pro the very first part of the acceleration, the phase 2 of the acceleration (after the wheel start moving until perhaps 30 mph) and part 3 the acceleration at high speed (after 30 mph, we are not all a speed daemon like you) ?
    3) Can you also compare the braking between these 3 wheels ?
    4) With which of these wheels you feel more secure if you are surprised by something and you want to react rapidly ?
    5) What about low speed control ?
    6) Which of these 3 wheels seems more stable ?
    7) What about the low battery management (bips, tilt-back, etc…)
    8) The suspension of these wheels are good enough for me but I guess people want you to tell something about that.
    9) Which of these wheels (perhaps all) give you a smile when you ride ?

You have addressed all of these in many videos. It would be nice if you can make a comparison with these wheels on these aspects and make an update since I guess there a few changes on the Commander Pro for example. New firmware has been published for the EX30, etc…

    Thank you.

  6. I find that many owner reviews aren’t as transparent, perhaps honesty conflicts with the purchasing of the EUC, which is ego driven. This channel is surprisingly different. It feels as if being genuine is the objective. As a fan of EUCS, this gives me solace.
The testing of the new EUCS, saves the community from making errors, especially since the 4k sticker prices have raised the stakes. Again, I sincerely appreciate this channel, and many others that sacrifice their time and body to make the community safer.

  7. Excellent video, I received mine yesterday. I need to adjust to the weight as I'm coming from a OG sherman. What's a good psi setting on the suspension?

  8. Im debating between this and the Sherman S as my next wheel (I have the v11 and og Sherman) I ride street but also do a lot of trail riding so the clearance, range and suspension of the Sherman S has me leaning that way but I’m definitely enticed by the EX30

  9. 54:54 I totally agree with you about not being able to diy fix Sherman s type suspension or replace it with an different brand aftermarket suspension shock.
I'm speculating: I think I would like the V13 with KS22 Pro suspension but not exposed like it is in the KS22 Pro. I think I'd want my shock protected externally but still visible.

  10. Thanks for making this video. I thought I was the only one having a hard time adjusting to this wheel. This is my first big, heavy wheel. I have a Gotway MCM5 as my first wheel. It almost feels like relearning how to ride.

  11. I ride that bike trail all the time. I cross that bridge and ride up to the park that’s more up the path on the left then ride back down to Angel Stadium. Surprised we haven’t ran into each other yet lol

  12. 2 comments, 1 video. I have not received a lot of hand-holding even from the big dealers. Not once have they offered to let me ship my wheel back for repair. My Sherman Max battery issue took months to get resolved and I did all the repairs myself. I would have liked to send it back and let them deal with it. The point of this rant is for that kind of support, might as well just save the money and use the discounted options. I will not say the dealer's name, but it is one of the big ones that is mentioned often. I don't imagine any of them are quick to tell owners to ship it back. Had I known about the discounted option prior to my last purchase, I probably would have used it.
