The two quickest normally aspirated FWD cars in Europe were at Santa Pod Raceway for the Doorslammers event. Jorel (Manajah) Wells from the UK in the 2.4l Honda Civic, and Andrzej Majchrzyk from Poland in the 2.5l Honda CRX. The record went back and forth between them over the Weekend, until they met for one final heads up grudge match. Andrrzej taking the win and with a new European record of 9.53 @ 145mph. On the day Jorel also ran a new PB of 9.62 @ 141mph.
