  1. You need somebody I built engines I'm not a machinist but I understand engines and air flow I have cylinder head porting and other things behind me classes for Mandela performance I learned how to blueprint engines I'm looking for something else I can't run a business but I can do work

  2. So basically what Steve said about the SML blocks was as follows " If you wanna mess around with that smaller LS baby engine stuff, that's ok, I'm not judging you, you live your life your way. Just remember to keep your dress pushed down when the wind blows." Steve Morris 1999.

  3. Steve, what was it like when you came up with that Flathead V8 design? Nobody else had a V8 all the had was 8ft of Hood and L8 cast of Pewter and pot metal. Here you come, making high strength billet steel alloy blocks 50 yrs before a C&C machine, 30before early fuel injection and right before the seatbelt was a thing. Lol just fucking with ya. My dad's like 50 or 60 and it feels cool to see y'all jamming and cramming work out. You are what I like my inner self to sound lik.

  4. I would love to see one of the V16's built in real time. I knew Steve had developed and built that engine but had never heard him talk about it really. That huge crank and cam are freaking SWEET!

  5. The sad thing is Steve isn't immortal because he is quite an act, a great guy in the business, and he's absorbed all of the knowledge upstream and digested it for us mere mortals. He has BALLS for doing things the hardest core way possible and not taking nickel and dime jobs.

  6. Great vid and overview of the shop, I'm glad you mention the price range for the SMX, I'll have to go count up my piggie bank (dang!). I wish the vid was filmed in landscape orientation though.
One question for both the SMX and SML's in street applications is how much power could they put out continuously, I would guess that the cooling system is good enough to drive down the highway comfortably but it really doesn't take much power to do that, lets say you had a truck you wanted to do drag and drive events with a trailer, could they handle that?

  7. I GOT BACK TO VANCOUVER IN 2015, STARTED AGAIN WITH NOTHING, NOW I OWN A SERVICE SHOP, WELL OVER 250K INVESTED, MAKE THAT AT LEAST EACH YEAR, I LIVE BY THE SAME STANDARDS STEVE. TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT, AND YOULL GO FAR. AND YEAH, NO FUCKIN PARTNERS LOL

  8. HOW ABOUT YOU LOVE POOCH AND BY HIM A NICE BED TO LAY ON WHEN HE IS WITH YOU HIS MASTER . WOULD BE GOOD FOR HIS JOINTS. NOT TO LAY ON A STONE FLOOR . ARFTER ALL HE IS TOP GUARD DOG PROTECTING ALL YOUR FINE ENGINES.
