At last, we are at the finish line. On the final day at St Louis for Hot Rod Drag Week, we were able to secure the win with a 6.05. At least, that was what we thought, until rain actually switched things around so that the results were entirely based on day four. That means we actually only won by two thousandths of a second in the averages over Sweden’s Michael Westberg.
Together with Steve Morris from @Steve Morris Engines we had to conquer a lot of challenges, but we got there. Now we can get back to the shop and start planning for Sick Week.

I'm building a 62 Falcon to go to Drag Week, Sick Week, whatever. It's called #HeHateMe because days like yesterday he kicks my ass and makes me want to golf. But watching all the carnage and people overcoming it makes me want to get out there and kick #HeHateMe's ass into shape and get him ready to run at some point in 2023. Heard you say Sick2.0 is up for sale…is Sick3.0 ready?
The S10 kept you guys on your toes great job tom
It amazes me how everyone, especially Tom, seems to keep calm and patient in the face of being on the edge of defeat and near destruction. It seems everyone had a hell of a time this season. Kudos all round!
Congrats. Well done.
You know what they say Mr Bailey s*** happens you did well you won
Congratulations on your win ! …. and having the perseverance to see the week through . The videos really helped show us what it take to do these events. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Many thanks.
Badass!!
Absolutely the drag car gave you a hard week and looking at the two of you, the colour of your hands says it all . Congrats on never giving up. I think on most guys if their trailers broke off their cars and almost could have been a bad moment. Well done , enjoy the few minutes of rest before…. back to work.
Nobody can say that you were given first place. You earned it. Great content all week. Thanks
Congrats on your win. Would have loved to race all week, but I lost oil pressure on testing and oil pan was full of bearing material. At least I didn't oil down the track and window my block.
Great job! That's a lot of work in one week!
I always secretly knew that Kerry King (from Slayer) and Tom Bailey (the driver of sick seconds) was the same person!
You can also say that the problems on the car came up – and came up before whoever buys the thing and save the new owner some hassle…maybe…
I like the S10 running 6s
Awesome to watch the battle. Congratulations.
Who else stopped by to see Tom”s head pop out from under Sick to tell us about Sick the Mag?
Insane stuff. Hits a 6.05 and Steve's like "…we gotta go faster than that." Sonic couldn't catch this man.
Yall damn sure deserved a win with all you went thru to get it done………And another GV broke a shaft, must have been a bad run on materials
#1. 69 babie
100 % behind you from day one. That's one SICK Chevy.
Congratulations on the well-earned win! I don't know how you are going to top this car if you sell it.
dude, drag week sucks.. all i see is it sucks but i really want to do it! also i just love steve, such a cool dude just wants to send it. congrats fellow michaganderz.
Congratulations!!
thought about a slide throttle instead of butterflies? or is the boost pressure too much?
Y'all definitely worked for that win! Congratulations!
Congratulations , you had to work hard for that one.
This event was my first time watching your channel, I really enjoyed how you show lots of other racers, and that you interviewed your top competitors everyday. Made it very interesting to watch what everyone is going through. Thank you.
