Taylor Laster and his team at TRE Racing Engines in Cleveland, TX, outside of Houston, build some very nice and very fast engines. We got to see inside the engine machine shop to check out the operation first hand. We were in drag race engine heaven, and definitely came away impressed.

Thank you for NOT playing background music. Excellent video.
Thank you for what you do.. I really enjoy watching this channel and learning from the content you create..
I think Taylor was a pro stock and pro stock truck racer back in the day.Nice shop he operates in the lone star state.
You can't be all things to all people… TRE does fantastic work… The street/strip stuff isn't below them at all.. They are just SO busy…. For this level of expertise though, it doesn't get better or if I can say this, more reasonable prices for the impressive work done… I'm still gonna try to get them to build a Drag N Drive engine for me next year… A N/A version no less…
Yeah their legit. They were out on 45 north I believe. They were working a lot with David' Nickens. Great Pontiac guys.
Great video, they are bursting at the seams crazy anount of stuff going on in a smaller space
Vid is excellent man!
2500 to 3000 to balance a crank is eye opening. The number of people who need or use machine shops is definitely shrinking in this economy. Too expensive for the normal working guys and that’s where it started.
Nice finally listening to a builder that can be down to earth.
that mob still going laster would have memories in australia
570 ci 4.400" bore space. SBC… Mmmmm, say 4.180" bore- HUGE STROKE 5.200" ….570CI…….WOW !!!
TRE, looks like you need a bigger shop… Your flat out and very full…
TRE, can you get Callies, bryant etc, to put the Mallory in, then you just do the finish balance..???
Cool stuff nice builds.
