What is a U-Drag race?
A U-Drag race consists of both cars heading down the track like a standard drag race, then braking hard, flipping around and then heading back.

I've seen some videos of the GT500 on the Nurbering(?) and it is a beast. It's not a 0-60 car, but it is a rocket once it can get a chance to rev out.

In that first race, I thought the Shelby jumped off first by a few inches and seemed to stop allowing the BMW roar ahead. But man, what power.

Finally a race with the GT500 that isn't a straight line. The GT500 hands down is a beast and it's made for the track. For the money GT500 all day long!
The only surprise for me is that the Shelby turned in much sharper than the M4. I would have thought the turn in would be where the M4 would shined giving it a better chance at getting the lead on the way back. I figured the Shelby with its top end would still come pass it closer to the finish. Great race!

Yeah this should have been the M8 Comp vs GT500. Gt500 would probably still win, but atleast it would be BMW's comparative car. Let's see the Mustang GT vs Chevrolet Sonic RS next!

C8 Z06 or ZL1 1LE. Nothing else is going to even come close when we're looking at sub-$110,000 cars. There is not a current production car that gives you this much performance bang for your buck than the GT500. The closest car in the past would be the Viper ACR
