We are beyond excited to introduce this new series to you; “The Nova Comeback Story”
It’s been a little over a year since Doug’s Nova hit the wall in Texas. The question we get at Motion, maybe more than any other, is “What’s going on with Doug’s Nova?” or “Is the Nova gonna be ready for this race or that race?” So we decided to do a series documenting the comeback and the changes this awesome machine has gone through.
Ride with us as we see this thing from wrecked, to chasin’ sixes.
Make sure you subscribe, like, comment, and share. All that stuff helps us more than you know. Hope you like the first episode.

First time I've seen this Channel and congratulations to everybody involved I see a lot of long hours late nights by some very skilled workers that do amazing work great job guys
Same color Doug?
I was at Ennis that night. The Nova was the first big end drag race accident my wife ever witnessed. Really glad Doug was able to walk away and the Nova is being brought back to life. It’s a huge testament to the safety equipment and quality of the work in the car. I know it gave her some solace for my safety.
I've been waiting for this video since the crash happened love the Nova one of my favorites
It's awesome to see the Nova back!
Awesome work guys would be great to see at sick week!
It’s a work of art. Love all the little details that will make it a great street car.
Looks great guys, I love Nova's and drive a 71 Nova
Glad to see an update on the Nova!
Nova is looking good. I like the wing on it. Novas look good with the wing!
I remember watching Doug wreck in Ennis. Heartbreaking. Glad he was ok and so happy to see this car being put back together! So excited to see it at raceweek in 24!
My dream nova!
So glad it's coming together! So many good functional ideas.
For the brakes bias if you change the size of the bore of the piston you can have a smooth stroke and reduce binding. Instead of having the bores of the fluid reservoir be both .5 inch change it to a .4 inch bore for the rear and a .6 inch bore for the front to give your car a better bias for breaking. Make sure the stroke stays the same and only change the bore size. The more you know!
Ohhhhh throwing shade at Mullet! Love the banter!
What does the rest of the series hold.
This episode, by itself is one of the most significant automotive videos in a very long time. For one reason:
THOUGHT.
