Disaster Filled Road Trip In My Forgotten ’64 Dodge 440!

We took our ratty, untested, and recently revived ’64 Dodge 440 that we thrashed on for a week, on an epic roadtrip, spanning 800+ miles from Pennsylvania to Kentucky for Holley’s Moparty event. There were many roadside repairs, oil vapor in every county of PA, and even a stop at Summit Racing in Ohio! This was a killer time, and everyone should get out there and drive their old muscle cars the distance like we did, and enjoy cruisin’ with your buddies!

  1. I like your content, people involved… But the music, oh the music. Honestly, I cannot stand hearing it anymore, which is a shame, since that means stop watching your videos. Good luck.

  2. They make a tool called a “sneaky Pete “ . I’ve had to use too install the upper part of those seals , you usually do have too loosen the rest of the main caps so the crank falls a little bit usually no issue .

  3. I learned to drive on a '64 Dodge 440, 4-door, wide 318 with push button tranny. First car I bought was '64 Polara, same configuration. Drove it a year and traded for a "67 Coronet 500, 2-dr with 383 4-bbl. Old Mopars bring back some good memories.

  4. Tony A…… I really like what your doing. Great to see this stuff. Just like roadkill but better because its more along the lines of what most of us that do this can afford. Godspeed to you. Keep it going.

  5. I get the commitment to resurrect the machine.
Also great with all the way cool parts that have been applied to the car.
Wondering how the leaking rear main did not become part of the upgrade/parts cannon?
