This will be a great Live Chat with Damon Merchant from Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws. Damon is a member of the 405, you know those guys, Big Chief, Sean with the Murder Nova, Daddy Dave, Chuck, the whole cast. Lets talk about Damon’s 3 cars, Dumplin, the ’71 Chevelle SS, The Rouge ’68 Camaro, and the 2005 Mustang GT. All are Pro Charged, and fast. Lets find out what it takes to get in the 405, and stay in. What happens behind the scenes. And about the man… Damon himself. Big thanks to his family, wife Lacy, children, Tegan, Logan, and Brycin. Big shout out to Dean Images, for pics. Jimmy Biggs, for hooking us up. Matt Bieneman From MBE. Also his buds Steve/ Brian Gerdas of South 40 Speed Shop. More thanks to his main Company Brando Speed, Brandon Hess, and Shane Novak
Tim, great chat with Damon. Street Outlaws is one show I watch every Monday night.
Thanks for the shoutout brother!
Damon seems like a good guy, thanks again for another excellent chat Tim!
Out all day Sunday. Couldn't join the live but just replayed. Interesting chat. Damon comes across as a grounded family guy with racing in his blood. Watched "Street Outlaws" when it first appeared years ago. Mighty quick and at times unsafe and unpredictable as in No Prep. Most of us got a taste of it though not at that level when we street raced. Obviously some of us still do… Disappearing sanctioned dragstrips have made this ever more popular. Sometimes big money to be made. And big money to be spent. Drama rules. I've been to Oklahoma a couple of times and once saw a Tornado off in the distance. In July of 1989 an EF3 Tornado (200plus mph) struck and devastated the area around my shop in Connecticut! Who would've thunk it…Thank you for the mention, Tim and keep'em coming. Hope you feel like you're still 57!
