I’m not much of an Audi fan but I gotta say that is one good lookin car. And as far as Goliath goes Daves already put small tires on it, he will be driving it at cash days.
4 hours of programming is my main reason for not watching. But, NPK going against Monday Night Football is the reason for the drop off in viewers.
Look at Lutz gto, then Dave's Audi. Same exact car, different grill.

I like Dave's car. It's cool looking. Far as people hating it, well so be it . At some point people were going to start using the "Modern cars" as race cars. I mean there are only so many old muscle cars still in one piece. Besides buying all the main skins from an aftermarket business. I would not be surprised if you start seeing more morden cars.

Love it! I just traded my Audi in and I always thought an Audi would look sick as an NPK car, yeh it’s foreign but you have the Lexus and the Caddy’s now and I rather see the Audi over the Lexus tbh

Plus Dave needed a a more aerodynamic car. The Chevy 2 was a brick. There was a limit how fast is it could go. Dave said he didn't know what kind of car that his chassis guy was making for him.

The drop in viewers is probably because they showed the Great 8 before the race. Dragging out 3 rounds for an hour made it boring. I fell asleep watching that part.
716CarGuys interviewed DaddyDave during SEMA and he said the car has a Noonan Hemi 4.9 now more ProLine Hemi. I also saw Swamstrom new car will be running a Noonan Hemi..
I'm curious to why he switched to Noonan over the Proline.
On the ratings….people watch it just to these days. The old days we couldn't wait till the next episode came out. Now its just something to watch when your bored. Daves new car is clean! The color, rims and stance are perfect looks wise!
Ryan should go screw blower just do they change the rules on all setups just because of ryan!

As for Daddy Dave's beautiful car. I personally think it's awesome and I hope he is a top two contender for the championship NPK 6. I personally wish the blower cars, Swanstrom, Howe, ODUMB, Disco Dean, etc… Would just go away. I think of them as TF or Funny Cars. Even the Pro Mod class. Stevie Jackson. But if they stay all cars should have a level playing field.
Yes Monza did criticize swanstrom for his Lexus. I really like Pre-Nup. But I do like it better Pro-Charged.
ProCharged Hemi makes sense, fastest combo in NPK and he’s familiar with it.
It was a choice I didn't expect but the A/S/RS5 is a good looking car IMO and it'll stand out in the field. It's definitely going to move through the air better than the Chevy II too which he was struggling with within NPK rules.
Sorry i like DD but really disappointed a foreign car ya i get it im old but they are are so many American cars that are aerodynamic , so i dont want here that is ur excuse people , this is America not Europe or Japan, America get it we live in America!!!!

I don't see the big deal. Its tubes, tires, and a hemi with a hunk of German looking skin on top. You could probably take it and switch it over to another skin with minor mods and make it look like a Lexus, or whatever.

who cares. it's just a shell over tube chassis. could be a truck or Volkswagen or a dang bass boat on the outside, it's all the same inside.
great 8 does better cause it's the top 8 guys going at it .. not suprised.. nobody watch 3 or 4 hours of mostly guys they dont care about ..
How exactly is it different? The Audi badge? Any aesthetic difference is negligible. Not radically different from any other car out there, they all follow incredibly similar formulas.
