This wing is crazy looking, but is it worth it? So far, I don’t have any data to prove it is working or not working, but hopefully soon I can tell for sure. It’s big and ugly, looks like a hot wheels car but it is growing on me….lol But first, we gotta have an engine that stays together so we can race. We canceled our race this weekend, but we are gonna be able to go testing at ThunderValley here in NC to try and get ready for dig or die next weekend in Rockingham. Let’s go!

Get rid of it you won more with out it
Not a wing fan don’t look right for a street car
Since you're not doing class racing, why not alter the firewall or do some engine setback?
Are you really having trouble with spinning the tires after the 8th? Because you’d be better off adding weight to hook up before the wing comes into affect only after about half track I would think anyway.
Hey hey! You can work towards getting your bias better but that weight is much more like it than it used to be!
I'm not a wing fan but I know they work
Ever thought about putting some load cells on the wing support to get more of a accurate reading of down force and put some yarn on top of the deck lid and a go-pro to see how much of the air flow is being upset by the wing being moved up to the high setting …might be a trade off going higher unless your way above the roof line with the wing
John all that is so interesting
Who cares what it looks like as long as it gets to the winners circle. Get with Beater bomb and see what you guys can figure out together.
if the wing works…. keep it… dont pay attention to those with opinions who dont race…lessons ive learnt from 40yrs of racing…
Your car is going to hurt some feelings at 2600 pounds. My ride is a 2900 pound all steel and factory glass car and hurts feelings on the street.
Time to put it on a diet.
Big Wang talk from da master blasta.
That wing is awesome looking!
Won't the car wheelie really bad with that much rear weight?
Let's Gooooo!
If that wing is so great why is no one else using them.?
Butt hurt bar coming soon lol me personally I like the wing John I’d just keeping trying stuff to u get what you want buddy but it’s your car don’t let no one tell you to take it off. Love the content
John have you been watching Andrew Lavender ? He runs a modular 2 valve engine and has been kicking ass !
no and it looks stupid
Ask Lyle about moving the engine back. He'll tell you 9 inches is perfect. Ok that's all the secrets I'm allowed to share !
Fear the wing folks!!!
HE'S GONNT SEND IT !!
That wing can add a virtual 500lbs of weight on the back end at speed, but it adds nothing for the 1st 100 ft or so and you're not carrying all that ballast.
I would raise the wing a foot over the roof and use solid tubing for the supports.
New sub here , billy mentioned u in the Dyno testing room so I thought I’d check u out . I like your channel
I like the wing
Why don't you call me shoot if you want all that drag
It's a bird, it a plane. Nope. That's TJ
Love the wing but your spill plates need to be higher to stop air flowing over the sides on the top The air dosent push down it pulls down could go into alot on how wings but you can look that up online I only run 4deg attack with a 1/2" bill on my dragster and the data shows over 300lbs downforce @200mph and I have the spill plates at 50/50
i
PS the higher up into clear air the better it will work you will get there
Wickerbill na its a bullpussy as the late 2 killer would say
Hey John hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Question for you about firewall .. I had thought most of the back half an no prep races had to have stock firewall in them . Just curious if something change or if I just lost my mind . Far as your car goes its yours who cares what everyone else thinks . The wiring is a whole lot better than what it was in the old car . Doing good man hope to see you again soon . Good luck on your up coming races an hopefully will have my pos running this coming season
At what “Wing Height” will it start creating LIFT reducing the down force?
What size wheel tubs?
How much did the aluminum block help the bias John?
