Round 4 of the Cleetus McFarland List Race at Bradenton Motorsports Park was intense. I made another attempt to earn a spot on the Top 10 List, needing to take out the #10 position to secure my place. Unfortunately, I red-lit by just 0.07 seconds — pushing through the light too early and disqualifying myself from the run.

But we didn’t pack up.

Instead, I lined up for a heads-up grudge race with Cameron Johnson from CJ Race Cars in his Twin Turbo “Creampuff” Chevy C10. What I didn’t know was that Cameron had pulled a driver swap, putting Jackstand Jimmy (James Taal) behind the wheel — a driver known for his lightning-fast reaction times and record-setting passes.

James ended up running Creampuff’s fastest-ever quarter mile, blasting down the strip in 8.5 seconds!
