Alright! Here we are @rockinghamdragway1010 in Richmond County, North Carolina. We raced here back in 2006. Did really good! Ended up winning the NDRA Championship in Hot Rod class in NOPI back then. Clinched the win in Rockingham after catching fire and winning the race…on fire.

We showed up with The 2nd Amendment car, fixed some oil leaks and thought we had this thing on point. First up, we’re going to race @FireballCamaro
The 2nd Amendment car was really fast at Norwalk, Ohio, so all we’re going to do is tame down the tune-up a little bit. We know that if we can keep up with Ryan, that we can compete out here in Rockingham.
We’re one of the first ones to make a pass down the track. Sun was in our eyes, couldn’t see the bulbs, so I knew when Ryan left that it was on. Caught up with @JustinSwanstrom69 at the Big End and he said he had the same issue. As far as that first pass went, I thought I turned the car down way too much. It was lazy out of the hole and Ryan got way out on me. The car came back to life, was riding wheels, riding on the wheelie bars hard and then backfired! I’m going to blame it on @DaddyDaveRacing for his wild ass tune-up from last week, lol. Speaking of Daddy Dave, he had to TCB and missed Rockingham so we had Drama, a member of his crew on our crew for the weekend.
It felt like a million things went wrong in one pass. We need to look at the data. It looked like we turned it down too low, so we need to make another Grudge.

We swapped lanes for the second pass. This pass was slower than the first! Ryan had issues with his car too and hopefully didn’t hurt the motor. We looked at the data and the boost controller is all over the place. The CO2 is all over the place. On top of that, it looks like we have a wiring problem with the crank or cam sensor. We have our work cut out for us to see if we can get it fixed before Saturday’s race here in Rockingham.

Hopefully we’re fast in Alabama so we can make up some ground and get some points.
Y’all -I’m fixing to divorce this thing. I want to divorce the wiring for sure. We might have a cheap fire sale at the end of the season for a Mustang. SMH.
