Funny you talk about Howe. Because I was thinking the same thing. If you watch Tony Stewart racing the a,/f ( nitro, I think 90%) dragster this past weekend. Watch the header flames and compare Howes headers. Then watch everyone else with screwblowers. You be the judge.

Howes running nitro, nitrous, and a blower. Him and Scrodom are cheaters. Scrodom has a Bluetooth trans brake! Howe has even said on a video that him and Scrodom will ride the “grey areas “ of the rules till they get caught! Douche bags right there. Both of them. Scrodom racing needs to bounce out of NPK.
With as bad as Ryan struggled after the break and the magnitude of the lead that he had it would not surprise me if Discovery didn't pay him off to close up the points. I know that I don't think Ryan would actually do that. He is far too tough a competitor to do it but if the money was right…
On the Jim Howe 'cheating': it's very possible that Howe and even Odom are using a special kind of fuel and maybe even special tech to gain some advantage, but the real question is whether it is actually straight up cheating? Basically any racer in the competition tries to put together a combo of which they think that'll give them some advantage. As long as the rules don't prohibit what they're doing they aren't cheating. But yes, with that also come a lot of grey zones in which the rules aren't clear (at least not yet, not last season but that might change). It's possible that Howe ran on a new type of fuel or at least one that wasn't really used or tested in this capacity and that gave him a serious advantage. But he wouldn't be wrong to do so when the rules aren't mentioning anything clear about it. Almost any racer out there tries to find grey zones in the rules or tries to skirt or bend the rules on the way they put together their combos and what they run on, but as long as it's not really mentioned or banned in the rules they're not really breaking any rules.

I'm sorry but the way them flames were coming out of his zumiez before he even started revving his car up that pretty much told me he definitely had nitro in there every time I seen him pull up to the line they were shooting flames before he even got on the chip revving it up or anything.

Hey Sim.. jj from Upshift 360 interviewed Ryan at SEMA and about any upgrades for NPK6 to the car he said the car is staying procharger but im not going to tell you the red car might not have a screwblower were his words.. Could we be seeing the red car with a screwblower NPK6

Im sorry but i really dont think howe was using a illegal or even a gray area. He was making the night time runs look better. They are blue flames (alchohol) if you watch the you tube videos youll notice that engine is running like crap when its letting the Blue flames out. Thats more likely from pulling the timing way way back to pump out raw fuel , which will ignite in the zoomies. And hence the blue flames.
Jim Howe is most likely using fuel that is mixed with certain oxygenates and probably Nitrous to cool his intercooler.

The rules for fuel are pretty straight forward….
i. M1-Methanol and race gas are permitted.
ii. Any use of M3, M5, nitromethane, polypropylene, and/or hydrazine are prohibited.
iii. Methanol must be pure U.S. federal grades A or AA without the addition of additives, masking agents or any other substances.
iv. NPK Tech Dept reserves the right to check fuel at any time. Failure to pass fuel check is grounds for disqualification from the event.
It's pretty easy to recognize any other fuels just by smell actually, so cheating in this area would be difficult for sure.
There is nothing in the NPK rulebook that says you can’t run on anabolic steroids
and sterno.
I have a thought daddy dave finest 10th in points and he missed 2 races this year was in the top 8 all year till he missed abama race 3rd too the last race and was driving a car built for the streets not NPK so now he's got a HOT ROD FOR NPK I bet he will win the championship next season if not he will be competing for no 1 all year now take this to the bank daddy dave will be the new NPK CAMPION none the less he won't finest the season out of the top 3
I bet Jim was cheating out of no where he takes Ryan out in 1st rnd and then takes Kye out in 2nd rnd and watch Jims video he is clearly running meth and nitrous and has a blower. Rules are only 2 power adders from what I have herd. And if he had nitro meth in his tank that's not allowed.
If I'm being honest I wasn't betting against or doubting Team Fireball but thought new rules would have benefited the Nitrous much more than they did. I would have been upset if Ryan hadn't won it in the end based on his win loss record in round wins & final appearances & wins. Felt Team Fireball deserved season ship with their overwhelming consistency. If I wasn't sure this year…I'm EVEN more so for season 6. NPK is STACKED…new cars…new teams, new rules, futures full of sharks…going to be SIC.
Ryan is staying pro chargeron the grey car but the fireball is getting a screw blower or at least Ryan hinted to it so I bet he's dragging both cars around in the next npk season! At least he will be testing them both in the off season and figuring out which one is gonna get him that 4peat

They arbitrarily enforce their rules. If you're Joe Blow they want your car to have a VIN (the rules are posted on their site for all to see), but if your Lutz, Bird, or B-Rad, you can race cars that have never had a VIN. I'm a Lutz fan boy and I think it's BS that a car born a Dodge Avenger pro stock ride doesn't magically become a GM product with a little bodywork.
Ryan is the goat. Not saying Jim is cheating but I understand the accusations, however can't say why his car is doing what it's doing so I can't say he is or isn't cheating. I doubt he or others would, the racers aren't stupid and if they see something off with someone car I don't think they would hesitate to call them out to the rules committee

Nitro Methane same fuel they run in Top fuel and the same fuel Chief said he runs. NPK is allowed to run Methanol. But they can’t add Nitro to it. You can quickly smell nitro. And apparently someone was running it in Texas.

Would not surprise me one bit if Jim Howe actually done that with his fuel. I have never personally cared for him since I saw him and knew who he was in one of JJ the boss events. He just seems like a shady shady shady character to me. But as they say the cream will rise to the top. Ryan Martin Top Dog Kye Kelley number two nobody works harder than those two guys except maybe Justin swanstrom because he's always crashing or tearing something up but those three guys they're the top dogs Jim how in my opinion shouldn't be named in the same breath as those three guys
As I have said the reason Ryan wins is because his team is a team, if one of the 405 get on top the rest makes sure they stay there. Kye and Lizzy need to come to an agreement that if one of them is in the running to win the other makes sure they don't take points from them, opps I'm broke, well we switched something to win and it didn't work. That's why you have a team

Well Jim how has admitted as much to cheating with Odom in regards to Odom red lighting now they go off of the electronic system where somebody else lets go of the button outside of the car yeah a Bluetooth button and he has been accused of using a different fuel before if you’ve seen stuff online he is the only one putting blue flames out at an idle on the starting line not another car does it I like John Odom but I don’t like him I’ll never have an ass to one of your videos back wimpy is not and had said so long before that video was not a part of Cassidy‘s and continues to not like how things go on the TV show yeah he may go to see the racing but I highly doubt you’ll see him on camera participating in the event
Ya but swanstrom had a huge fire an drop down to 12 n came back up to 3rd.and also won an event that didnt give points . And as in howe he even said he gonna push all the grey areas that he can. An even said if you dont get caught cheating then your not cheating what does that tell you ?
Sim street race talk is great you do a good job with it but your true fans of the show will understand your extremely busy schedule with school which should be more important to us that you focus on that and congrats on your the senior year and best of luck if you put as much heart and soul into your senior year as you do street race talk you'll have a great year and enjoy it after this it's not going to be all fun hitting the working field unless you decide to further your schooling but do please know you have a good support team behind you on your channel that wants to see you succeed

Well you do see a lot of flames coming out of Jim Howe's exhaust when idling. So he could be running some nitro.
Well I have to apologize to Robin Roberts I suspected he was the one accused of cheating and I was wrong
First let me say I am ONLY a fan and not an expert. Jim Howe put out a video saying they checked his fuel and then shows his car doing a burnout and backing up with weird blue flames coming out his headers and also what looks like him purging a nitrous system two different passes. I asked in his comments section what was it and instead of him answering me other guys answered me basically telling me he was trolling me and how dumb I was for accusing him of cheating. First off I NEVER said he was cheating I simply asked him to explain what those two things were. He didn't!? Who cares if he is cheating they will catch him eventually. But what really gets me with Jim Howe is him saying "if your cheating your not trying" don't want my kids looking up to that!! Or couple years back when he looked Ryan in eye, shook his hand and said "I dont guess I'm not like that" then he jumped/guessed (whatever) and beat Ryan by inches and then bragged "I beat Ryan Martin I'm everyones hero around here" for a month after that. Jim Howe isn't a good person and neither is Odom with their "new cars" with funny car dragster motors and wanting to bet money on round races when some of these guys are just struggling to get to each NPK race. Its just disrespectful and a real lack of class!!

Have you seen Allison's Dart from SRC/Gen2 garage lately?? She was making some good passes @ Edgewater Dragway !! 12.50s on all motor !! Once she puts a 200/300 shot on it, imo she will be in the high 10s low 11s !! Jeffffa, Bill, Allison and Tommy has worked their asses off on that car and it's definitely showing!! All out of a little 340, a tiny converter and a 750 ATM carb !!
Don't most of these guys detune their cars to go down anyway? I'm no expert, but I don't see how running a different fuel can really benefit someone who's already killing power
