In this episode, we dive into the much-anticipated install of Charlie Brown’s new motor, fresh from Uncle Tony at BES. What seemed like a direct fit turned into a full shop day of refitting dry sump lines, modifying heads, and custom milling flanges for the headers. After swapping in a new flex plate, we ran into some unexpected transmission issues that required a bit of precision sanding to get things right. With our radial shocks in place and a vintage timing gun in hand, Charlie Brown finally roared back to life. It’s been a wild ride, but that’s the nature of drag racing! Buckle up and watch as we get one step closer to putting Charlie back on the track!
