Ooh Ooh Mr.SIM Mr.SIM
I can't see you!!!
First
Hi Sim, best to you and yours.
I was 100% WRONG with the draft, so take what I am going to say with that in mind…I DO NOT think they will ever air near filiming dates. BUT I HOPE I AM WRONG!!!!!!!!!
If you want to watch it live, just watch it live. No need for a big production. Several people stream it.
There’s so much racing at the NPK events that we don’t see even on the YouTube streams people have.
Why not do a WWE style Pay-per-view??
I honestly don't think npk will be around 3 or 4 years from now like Monza he didn't renew his contract because they offered him less money that's from his mouth npk will end up going to much like nhra in a couple of years look at how the drivers now have sponsors all over their cars because they are getting bigger then the racers can afford
If it's not live it would be worthless. With the you tube feeds you know what's happening live now.
Surprised they haven’t tried live pay per view.
They need to go live. I think one of the reasons why the ratings are slowly falling is because it’s not live and people already know what’s going to happen.
They are gearing up for live in the coming years, maybe next year! They HAVE to. Pirates are gaining too much traction, if you catch my drift
I Wish that the "TV" networks would broadcast these type of live event shows sooner. (Afterall probably at LEAST 85% of the ticket holders have smartphones and take videos of the people they like, AT LEAST! Others video it all and put it on YT or other social media).
BUT they move too slow and will not let "their content" be broadcast before "they" want it to be. (but again, we all know that it will be shown elsewhere) We all know the power of the internet these days…we do but do the broadcasters (I know, silly question)?
I really wish they would show it sooner, and I really do think that the ratings would or could be SO MUCH better if they did so! I mean we all appreciate the show and watch it because we love it, or hate it. I mean if it showed before internet showed it (or even close), think about the ratings that Discovery and/or Pilgram could get. (Probably better than ever)
I AM NOT A SMART person when it comes to things like this, but it is a VERY simple business strategy. Like Ricky Bobby said, If you Ain't first, You're Last…(pretty sure it was him, but if not, y'all know what I mean)
(…I am stepping down from my soapbox now, DISCOVERY AND OR PILGRIM, Pretty please consider this…we all know y'all have spies in here!!!!!!!! j/k, lol)
I want to play Fantasy NPK like Fantasy Football, now that they are doing drafted teams. It gives those of us who can't make a race and still participate every week. I think it will bring more attention to other drivers who are already popular from the show
Here is the problem with it being live. The rounds are what 45 minutes to an hour apart. The second problem is the added drama. I think if they cut down the drama they could have it edited in a week. So this past race which ran on the 2nd and 3rd, could run on Discovery on the 12th and 13th or at the latest the 19th and 20th. Then they could ran the other shows they film on off weeks of the NPK. Or run they other shows for an hour on nights when they ran a two NPK show and two hours on nights the NPK was off. I think that would be close enough to keep ratings up.
I stopped watching NPK on TV because a) their coverage is TERRIBLE! You don't really see the race because they show in car/out car/in car/out car so fast it's stupid. They really need to show the races like ESPN shows an NHRA race. B) with all the youtube coverage, I already know who won, so what's the point of watching the terrible TV coverage. Every youtuber that covers NPK (and other races, e.g. War in the Woods, Cash Days, etc.) does a better job than Discovery. And lastly, Discovery focuses too much on drama…I want to see the cars in the pits and on the track…I couldn't care less about the drama.
