30 passes on the MH7 Hemi and time for a freshen up!
Follow Us!
I don't care what anyone says, that proline hemi with a procharger is so much more economical than a hemi with a screw. Look how many times Justin has rebuilt that Noonan with that screw this year
I learn so much useful stuff from u guys I wish Shawn's dad had time to show some of those body work secrets
U guys did a freshen up super fast.
Going from 50 pounds to 220 pounds I can not stress enough how important ARP studs are
Dalton looking like he just got drafted in the MLB lol
maybe, get a better camera than a gopro they are great but they get hot and stop working all the time sony mirrorless are the way to go
dalton is going to a top wrench. seems very intellegnt.
Y'all are really shaping up your program. Ever thought you'd be so serious back in the day hiding from the cops at B&R?
Thanks as always on the videos. Love seeing you guys work. Those two kids are very fortunate just to be able to work on their own cars let alone the Proline Hemi. I am too afraid to share an improvement so I will leave it there. God bless y'all & everyone in the 405. May God keep everyone safe!
so what happens to the old pistons and rods? are they just scrap after 30 passes? are they recycled into new ones?
Everyone i know that has a Gopro has problems with them no mather the version so easy fix= buy a proper camera. Cheaper in the long run and goodbye problems…
No gloves so u will not get oil in ur cuts.
Big question is do u have to re calibrate them torque wrenches?
That's why they make ring depressers
Man that man splaining of you fucked up while you cant as I did dishes till the time laps (had to check if that was it). Do the job or hire 2 someones, 1 to film 1 to edit, but dont tell me why you cant post here….. This is youtube we want regular 2X a week posts, Shit 3-6 weeks behind, we don't care…. but shit ya'll Slackin…. Bless Up!!!
Thanks Guys ,for taking us along for the ride ! Great Video ! 187 Coustoms ❤
Great content. Good to see you guys working together on the Nova.
Unfortunately the beginning of this video matches their program. I wonder how long Sean is gonna keep running a program like this. How many times can you hear Phantom making excuses for the editing, wheelie bar adjustment, or whatever happened on any given day that keeps 187 from reaching the top. I like Phantom….but this isn't just street racing against Memphis where mistakes are soooo much easier to overcome. Sean is throwing money at his program and not seeing results. Can't get rid of yourself so…..somebody gots to go. I'd like to see Phantom tighten up a bit but he gets flustered. Maybe keep him on for Media and hire a crew chief. Idk. I keep hearing people mumbling about how 187 ain't winning. In over their heads. Blah blah blah. I know Sean is cool as a cucumber but he hears them comments. You can only be cool and deaf for so long before you're pissed and hearing loud and clear. I write this in hopes that they see it. That it lights a fire under whosever ass needs it and they tighten up the ship and start going deep in rounds and to victory lane. I've been a fan since day 1 following 187 Customs and a fan of the 405 guys in general for a decade or more. Time to start putting more time into the race program and scoring some wins. The Youtubers wont keep paying the bills if videos are fucked up and content is lacking without wins. So figure it out boys. I'm pulling for ya. You got this.
Maybe yall should look into a video guy / girl so there is one Dedicated person So they can maintain and always check For any issues prior to videoing.
Hey Phantom how much would a MH7 short block cost 60 or 70k?
got lucky it didn't suck up one of 10 rags on the floor 'come on do better guys
Hey there ,
I noticed looking at the tops of the pistons , that all of them were very close in carbon build up and light in color of the carbon ! These are signs of a really great tune ! None of them showed signs of over heat or over fueling of the cylinders , again shows what a great job you are doing with your fuel mapping and over all tune ! Great job guys and keep up the great efforts !
Do you guys NOT file the corners of your rings before you put them on the pistons?
I think one of the problems Shawn was having while installing the pistons was that the compressor is supposed to go against the head, and the piston and rings slide through it!
Thanks for the video, Phantom. I'd rather get a speedy view of you guys getting it done than having to guess whether or not you did it.
Hey Danny! great video, I have been using the same camera and card for over 800 videos. I use a separate card reader to down load my files and I copy in lieu of transferring them. If I have a file that seems corrupt, I can then recopy the file and it rectifies itself. This works for both audio and video. Keep up the good work Mrs K.P and I love it!
Can your kid Aiden standup without holding on to something or leaning something ?? Just asking ?? Hopefully he is learning from his buddy Dalton !!!
Three kid's start to learn and develop if you take a moment to teach the class then they may take your job big man so keep em dumb eh
Your regular maintenance rebuild! My regular maintenance change oil and might rotate tires lol
187 customs for the win!! git'r'dun son
Great to see team Goof Troop back in action.
Hi Phantom. Do yourself a favour and buy a DJI mic set. It comes with to units so that way you will always have great audio. Your not relining on the camera audio then.
I just be honest with you guys I'm just amazed how far you guys came in the last year audio in ways is just a bonus in my opinion you don't have to have I'm just thankful that you guys are taking him time and shown us behind the because that's his stuff that they don't show on TV as much and it's kind of entertaining watching you guys learn it for yourself to just keep up the good work and never give up
Man y’all are racecar
Thanks Shawn and Phantom for another great maintenance tutorial video on the 187 CUSTOMS RAM JACK NOVA. You can just tell with the effort you both are putting in you mean business this season and go rounds. Well done fellas cant wait to see it in action. And fantasic to see young Aiden and Madlad Dalton getting in there with some grease under their fingernails helping out learning and taking in as much as they can without being to much of hinderence in the way. Gunna make the moron nation the proudest fan group this season. Go hard boys Go Rounds & make some killer licks.
I actually like this format, and might prefer it for when you're tearing down and completing a project like this in double-time, to have your commentary and insight. So glad to hear the progress on your "program", you're reaping the benefits of all the work you've done on testing and checklists and preventative measures. You'll be so much more consistent, reliable, and that will lead to winning. Great job!
Would love to see a series like 10 and 10 10 grand to buy a car 10 grand to mod it go against Ryan kye and others
All good I enjoy the video is no matter what
Man those wheels look sick..
Not gonna lie kinda like this talking over the time lapse, with the music in the background. I think it's better personally
Struggling with that roque wrench. Some of equipment we go to 1k ft lbs. have to use multipliers.
On average most of our stuff is between 250 to 500.
It’s all shoulder technique. Never pull on the handle like that. Good way to slip and hurt yourself.
Keep up the good work.
Smart idsa going hemi you can thank tom hoover for that the engineer who gesigned it in 1963 yes its a bit different but still the same design give er boyo! Murder nova bad assinest nova ever hope you have a good season guys
Maybe its time to try an alternative to GOPROS- Dji Osmo
