What will win between a RWD Audi R8 V10 or an AWD BMW M5 Competition? Well, let’s find out!
Let’s start with a look at the stats… Starting with the R8, it’s powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can deliver 570hp and 550Nm of torque. It powers the rear wheels only, and it tips the scales at 1,590kg. It’s expensive, mind, setting you back at least £132,000.
And then we have the BMW. It’s housing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, which is good for 625hp and 750Nm. As you’d expect, it’s heavier than R8, weighing in at 1,895kg. However, this one’s equipped with AWD, and this model is a fair bit cheaper than the Audi, costing £60,000.
So how will this play out – will the naturally-aspirated sports car snatch the win? There’s only one way to find out – LET’S RACE!

Did anyone see the brake dust coming off the M5 during the brake test. People say the M5 brake dust is ridiculous but I didn’t expect to see it that clearly.
This is bogus!!! That R8 is not pulling on the M5 like that I believe they dnt be in the same settings or the M driver was not shifting the right way!!!
Have to put that R8 in 2nd for the sport mode roller! It keeps losing those ones since it has to run too long through third

I think the results would of been different if Matt was in the M5, his reaction is just spot on and even tho matt didn't jump the start the M5's driver just didn't have the same reaction times. But great line up!
