Looking through the crowd we see Rob Geoghegan in the Casper Malibu purging nitrous as a beautiful boosted stepside S10 truck prepares to prestage. Charlie Bennett checks it for escaping fluids before the green light illuminates. Spectators are reminded of Butch Reed as this clean white Snow Dime stretches the burnout next to a little Chevrolet pickup that lurches hard in the left lane. Greg Hunt with Revolution Racing decides to finish his left lane pass in the right lane when his Real Street Buick gets to hard to handle. By that time Dirty Brown is far enough ahead not to be in the danger zone. The Ohio based Street Racing Channel S10 was favored by some of the people we heard talking. The Preston family and Next Motorsports Race Cars Mercury named Mamaw are not going to be an easy sell.
