You know the old saying, standards are more fun but automatics win races. That’s the only thing holding it back is the lag during shifts. But you know this. I’m a 302 guy you can take a stock block 302 and go past the 500 or 600 mark without splitting the block just have to get away from the 50oz balance and 28oz balance and go zero balance

Speaking of the S-10, what is your pressure ratio? Reason I'm asking is the engine may be wanting a different cam in it, but it depends on the pressure ratio. Your cam could be entirely correct, or entirely wrong.
