  1. 3.73 ,wavetrack or Torsen, clutch, metal slave cylinder, Ripshift and the blower it will be a handful. Also very important a Harrop diff cover and mount. The oil gets really hot in those differentials and the extra volume helps quite a bit. They are barely adequate for a stock car. It would be and has been the first mod in my past Vz's. Still very stock looking and derivable. Also easily reversible.

  2. Gotta love an Aussie Holden CV8 Monaro, what a car. Hope you raise a hell of a lot for the cause, can't wait for the build.

  3. As someone who has worked with my hands, & head, over 4 decades… THANK YOU, for giving our youth a chance to succeed. And having some chuckles along the way ! Thanx !

  4. You all need to let all the patrons of your channels that it was designed and built in Adelaide in Australia, and it is a Holden Monaro.
They were first conceived in 1967 through to 1975.
Please do not destroy this car.
    Cheers from Australia.

  5. Would of been cool to raffle it off instead of auctioning it. Sell l tickets at every NHRA race this year. I thing you would of raised more money and an average guy could of won it. Good luck with the auction, and see you in 2 weeks in Chicago.

  6. "Tha rest of tha story" I remember sitting in my Grandpaw and Grandmaw's ol house on their Ozark Mountains farm house living room – hearing him say that back in around 1953 or 54,, none other than Paul Harvey Sr. We NEVER missed Paul Harvey weekdays at noon.

  7. I'm so glad Pontiac didn't do the Grand Am or Grand Prix GTO back in the early 90's. They played with the ideas. They even made so test trim packages that they stuck on test mules. I will say the engines were neat. Turbo and supercharged versions of the 3100 and 3400. Just not into front wheel drive Goats.

  8. I wish that a program was available when I was doing this but luckily I had a great group of people who were willing to spend time to talk and share their experiences and teach me what they learned over the years I have learned a lot from them and gained experience of my own learning every day hope that it goes well with what you guys and CRC are doing together to give someone a chance to learn and grow in the future is our kids

  9. Me again, you are all such a great inspiration, great job Clay, Geoff & CRC. I got a little help when I was a kid & spent the rest of my life working with supercars & F1 race cars. So happy to see the help you are offering to the next generation
