My 2019s 10r80 just self detructed this past weekend with only 36k miles. Its currently getting a new trans installed at Ford. Other than that, it was great!
Honestly can’t decide between 10speed or a mt82 just for pure enjoyment aspect not racing
The 6R80 is actually the best transmission. I have a Procharged 2020GT with a 10R80 and even tuned it’s meh…very finicky. At this power level it wonky and when you put a power adder on Apollo you will see. In N/A form the 10R80 is fantastic but after 700+ it can have a mind of its own.
If you're interested in a mustang for drifting I highly suggest getting an sn95/new edge mustang seen that chassis drifting really well
The 5.4 and 5.8 in the GT500s are Modular engines. The blower was a trinity
Before you sell the Shelby you need to it take up Loring Air Force base in Limestone Maine. They have the longest paved land speed track in the world.
Ik you’re saving to move, but after you sell Zeus’s it would be cool if you got a cheap ass car or maybe even a sn95 or something and turn it into a drift car!
I really love the tremec in my gt350. I have an f13 m6 with the dct and its great for an auto but not as fun as a good manual transmission.
I’ll leave this here Gen 1 MT-82 is better than Tremec 3160. Autos 6R80 is king

When I had a 500, peeps would be surprised I talked to them and wasn’t stuck up so I know exactly what you mean. Love the 5.0 back to my roots and peeps. GT3 would be money but you have the same group of peeps to deal with
Great video, I have the Tremec 3160 in my Mach 1. I switched out the factory shifter to a MGW and it's much better. I'm not sure if they upgraded the shifter in the dark horse but the MGW has shorter throws and It has more of a bolt action feel with less play which is what I was looking for.
I think you do not realize one of your mustangs have the dual transmission like a porsche which is where the love belongs

The 5.4 in the 07-12 GT500 were code named “Condor” engines. As far as transmissions, I am a huge fan of tremec. The DCT is a beast of its own and the 10 speed is king of the autos. Trust me the 13-14 GT500 is a different beast. The live axle and power make a hell of a fun car. Mine is a 2010 GT500, I was looking for a 13-14. But when I found mine, I got such a good deal on it I could not pass it up. A few mods and it makes really good power. Like I said the offers open if you’re back in North Carolina, you are welcome to run the dog shit out of this thing.
