Saw the wreck John. Can’t be too hard on yourself. You’re basically aiming a projectile and taking a ride the length of two football fields in 4 seconds. Not much time to react or contemplate a decision. You walked away and nobody got hurt badly. Great build on the car. It kept you safe. Keep racing and remember Go fast and get some win lights!

Hope you're feeling OK. I know the car got pretty wadded up but it sure would be nice if you could save the body. With the dings, dents,, scratches and wear the patina was starting to look good. Almost as good as the old penny. Not a shiny fan.
This reminds me of my cinical nature. I look at the pits at our local track and call it the field of broken dreams. The place where your dreams come true, but the nightmares are always lurking around for you too.
How are you feeling after the wreck? Hopefully you didn't break your sternum. Broke mine in a dumb ass way leaning over a flat deck to chain a car down.. still kept at it but everything after was calculated movement for a while.. what's the next hot rod going to be a nice Shiney one or another down and dirty fast as heck build??

Glad you posted a video big guy i know your down and out right now bit take a few days and heal uo and get the soreness out of you! I had a left rear slick blow on me from something stupid and hit a wall at almost 170mph! I know your sore as hell right now i was sore for weeks after that and had bruises from the harnesses around my waste and shoulders and the crotch strap itself sucked really bad too! Take a few days and heal buddy then come uo with a game plan plan ! Dont worry about us we mean nothing in the scheme of things! Take it easy and dont over do it! Glad your ok big guy!

I know I'm not the only one to see the right wheel at 2, 3 +degrees inward before he left. The left tire was straight. Any chance the rack got loose?

In that video before the crash, when the camera was looking down the side of the car it looked like the wheel was turned to the left. Sorry you wrecked your car brother. I’ll definitely be on the web page to order some merch.

Went down that track in 98-99 alot started traveling over sea working got messed up getting body back in shape ready for it again getting one more surgery or something right lower lung cancer but I'm coming back hope it's as fun as before
