“Backwards entry competition between Nakamura and James Deane to sell the place out” – Dave Egan

I interview @Drift Games David Egan about how to make Drift Week 7 more exciting, and I get some cool ideas from him, like having NAOKI NAKAMURA and @James Deane compete against each other in a backwards entry competition in front of a crowd in Arizona at Honda Musselman Circuit to get people pumped. I’m always pumping people for ideas, and stuff I can do to get people excited about drifting, and creating unforgettable experiences for people. I’m going to do it damnit! So lets go drifting and have a good time!

  1. Give them both the exact same vehicle down to last Nut and Bolt that is an event that will get my attention all the drift drivers in exactly the same vehicles then it comes down to the drivers skill level

  2. @lonestardrift don’t advertise it as “who’s the best in the world” they’re driving styles completely different from each other. Have it as call out battles with other big names and have entry competitions for fun.

  3. i was warming my car up at the event this weekend and i saw dave walking by, i went ahead and yelled at him "hey dave, im a big fan!" thinking he would wave and keep going. he walked my way leaned in my window, shook my hand and we had a quick chat about my car. dave is so kind. that interaction is small to him maybe but something i will remember. i had a similar experience with jimmy oakes. drifting is the best thing that ever happened to me.
