  1. In the same vein of Wilhoit possibly being a top guy had S.O. gone TX instead of OKC, Cody Baker walking away as a big hitter, (though we know his reasons) was a pretty big surprise.

  2. Cheif was right on the button, with these corporate guys ruining the NP racing yeah now look at it now all bout the money Cheif will always be the king of this type of street racing now I get why he got out when he did it ain't the same an reason why we liked watching remember Street Outlaws!! Now it's Track no prep kinda NHRA racing ain't no outlaw bout it lol

  3. Based on your question Sim, watch Jerry's video about where he's at. Team Monza can't afford to run a competitive team on the salary he has been offered. There's your answer son.

  4. There making it like regular are racing our street laws we loved pilgrim is destroying it I could take the 404 with chief now. And make a show of them racing other town or teams and bet it would get great view we won't to see the crow murder nove and the he'll let them be on fast in America for worst have it teams against teams like the fist seasons do so new shit have caddy jack on there to ive quite watching regular drag racing if I wanted that I would go to espn and watch it wake up discovery

  5. NPK will be burn out soon, Discovery can’t stop YouTubers from filming …. They’re loosing money so they’ll try to get some money back by either telling drivers to stop posting some things about NPK before the show or try to censor people for posting races about the NPK show ( specially those people with sponsors ) .

  6. The difference is racers that are dedicated to NPK racing versus those that do it to make use of their time. The people dropping off cannot generate the funds to do it full time while others such as Odom, Bowman, Damon, Kallee, etc have taken steps to invest in their operations.

  7. Doc would probably be able to answer "Yes" to all those questions, but still didn't get picked and ended up going to the "pool". If we continue to see folks pull out of NPK, he'd be one I'd expect to see on the short list. It was interesting to see the post by Farmtruck & Azn, celebrating 10 years of Street Outlaws. Just the fact that they are both still "Out there" in the public eye does say something to the fact that while money seems to be everything, occasionally, content and character still can carry the day. Neither one of them has had a competitive car/truck for some time, outside of the "true street racing" scene!

  8. I would rather go watch a local track race or have everyday street racers put it on the line in the streets than to pay money to go to a NPK event. But no I’ll will to those who love it

  9. Opinion only. I think discovery channel is looking at ratings way more than who’s fastest. They want guys on camera that have a very outgoing personality. It’s kinda getting like big time wrestling. Not necessarily the best out there but, who’s gonna get the television ratings. Yeah we all have our favorites but, look at how many of the real fast guys have a television personality. All these men and ladies work hard at this. Bottom line, who’s the flashiest on television and can talk a load of crap. Money talks with discovery not who works the hardest or is the fastest. Again opinion only!

  10. I have been seeing a bit of this talk some of these guys like Monza help make the show what it is…Anyone who is on that show should not have to worry about parts or cars between sponsors and Discovery there should be no reason these guys aren't making enough money to be able to race…Yes I know they can't cover every single part or car build but the vast majority they can it only helps make the show even better if everyone is getting the same benefits and money doesn't dictate wins a good portion of the time I think you'd see some amazing races…It also could be a nice tax right off..It's just nuts to me how a star of the show and proven racer can't afford to race his car.

  11. Sean wilhite did the right thing. If they're not? Gonna pay him enough to be there and make him eligible to race. Why should he waste all his money in the savings? So I think hes doing the right thing and he can go erase all the places and have fun and make some money instead of sitting on the. Sidelines of no prep kiyes I'm for him.

  12. That is why I bracket race. It's not about the money. It's about a good light and running your number. NPK (baby pro-mod) was destined to get out of money control for the average Joe sooner than later. Still love it, though.

  13. It's simple. Yes, it is about the money. It's expensive to run these cars and I'm sure if your team wins, you get paid more, so why wouldn't you want folks that can do the most.

  14. Sim those are fair questions . Also all of the future guys and rookies that got chosen all have that stuff and the budget to make every race no matter what . Saylor, mills , alverez canion all the guys that haven’t been on show and we’re surprise picks to casual fans all have money or race team that they decided to run npk with . That also means they have the money to test and buy stuff to be competitive. I’m surprised it took this long to get to this point .

  15. These poor guys can't compete and they need to win so they can get that money it's not a sport for your average guy.. gotten way out of hand I think more people will be dropping out.

  16. Outlaw Armageddon is still our favorite race to attend. We will hit NPK races, but they have developed the NHRA event feel. OA just has that OG street feel to it.

  17. No one cares about wilhoit. The hiy is a proven cheater. Plus he is a prick. No one ever had anything good to say about him. Good riddance. He never was an OG. just a wannabe
