I'd hone it and sleeve that engine because I wouldn't want to have to bore out a virgin block.

So I used to be able to watch vice grip garage real easy and it was all good! everything was great, I love cars so everything was fantastic and then my wife pointed out all this dude stupidity and told me how much she hates him like his hand movements and his dumbass little sayings for stuff like charging whirler and fuel make it happener and sparkalators things of this nature now I have a hard time watching with out anger sweeping through my body I have to ffwd to the bits with more working and less talky but still things like 46:42 when he said let that cook for a little bit the way he said it just solidified I can no longer watch this dude too annoying and fu€ing frustrating go to 46:42 and listen to the way he says let that cook for a little bit and if you can continue to watch him with all his dumbass sayings and dumbass hand movements you're a stronger man than I am

I grew up on a farm low income so you make do with what you have and if it is broke and you want to use the equipment or farm truck,then you scrounged the salvage yards and junkyards for whatever parts and pieces you need and repair and rebuild them so they can be reused and I actually learned how to work on vehicles as a necessity not as the hobby it is now I have had to rebuild starters disassembled and installed new brushes from another junkyard starter and I have also disassembled and replaced the pickup coil and put the distributor back together and hopefully it works lol, but that's just how it goes we couldn't afford to pay a shop to fix them and buying a new one or a somewhat newer replacement for the equipment or truck we had wasn't a option so that is how I learned how to work on tractors lawn mowers garden tractors cars,vans, and trucks..
I bet it'll run may not run great but it will run I have fixed several stuck farm truck motors most was SBC 2 were well used 350's with quadrajet carburetors that popped bang backfired out the exhaust and smoked like 14 mofos,in Cheech and Chong movies lol. And the early 94 Chevy Silverado extended cab short bed Z71 tbi truck was no exception and with it's true dual modified no cat heartthrob glasspack mufflers and heartthrob brand 2.25 inch inlet 3 1/2 inch outlet slant cut stainless steel exhaust tips when the tbi because of the fuel injectors would load up on fuel and flood itself and soak the spark plugs when you got it to start it would pop and backfire through the glasspacks and the exhaust tips and I swear to God it sounds like a 12-16 guage double side barrel shotgun shooting buckshot at the same time the neighbors hate that truck lol

The Balast resister is there to reduce the battery voltage to 6 to 8 volts from 12 volts. when using 8 or 6 volt battery bypass the resister
