10 YEARS OF BLOOD, SWEAT, AND NO PREP HISTORY ON THE LINE! For a full decade, John has poured his absolute heart and soul into building this series from the ground up. He’s the one who held down the local grassroots scene, organized the classes, prepped the track, and worked endlessly behind the scenes—even putting our scene on the map by getting us featured in a magazine! John built ProStreet 519 and Hard Times for US.
There are so many people, sponsors, track staff, and local supporters who have made these 10 years possible that it’s impossible to name everyone without forgetting somebody—so to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has ever helped, supported, or shown up over the last decade: THANK YOU!
We all know these past two years haven’t been easy on anybody with everything going on across Canada. Everything has gone up—rent, groceries, gas, build costs, you name it. Times are tough, but through all the noise, NO PREP drag racing has been our escape, and John kept this community together when we needed it most.
Now, tomorrow is a huge turning point. John mentioned that even if he steps away, it won’t be forever—and we need to make sure he comes back sooner than later! If we pack this place deep tomorrow, we can show John exactly how much this community needs him, prove to track management how massive the demand is, and give him every reason to bring Hard Times back even bigger for 2027!
