This week we’re getting the Beater Bomb ready for one of the biggest races of our season.

Before we can head to the track, it’s time to go through the entire car from front to back. We pull the spark plugs to check the health of the engine, inspect and adjust the valvetrain, nut-and-bolt the car, swap tires, and get everything loaded up for battle. Good thing we did, because we found a few issues that could have ended our weekend before it even started.

We also swap tires onto the wheels that were damaged when we hit the wall earlier this year, install a new beadlock ring, and come up with a pretty cool giveaway idea along the way.

After almost three weeks of sitting, it’s finally time to fire the Beater Bomb back up, check the two-step, and make sure everything is ready for race day.

The next race is shaping up to be a big one, and we’ll be lining up against some serious competition. Time to see if all this preparation pays off.
