1,064-HP Hurricane Dodge Chargers Battle at Roadkill Nights

Seven modified Dodge Charger Sixpacks lined up at Roadkill Nights for a Hurricane-powered grudge match unlike anything we have seen before.

Each competitor started with a 550-horsepower Dodge Charger powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane engine. From there, the teams added bigger turbos, built engines, upgraded transmissions, nitrous and other modifications. Power ranged from approximately 600 horsepower to an incredible 1,064 horsepower at the wheels.

Patrick Rall takes us through the field, explains what each team changed and shows the racing from M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. In the final round, John O’Malley and the Boosted Motorsports Charger faced Brian Kiefer and the Kies Motorsports Charger to determine the first Hurricane Grudge Match winner.

Which of these Hurricane-powered Chargers would you want to drive?
