Most is 4,212 metres of twenty-one corners — twelve right, nine left — with a 792-metre straight laid across the reclaimed spoil tip of a lignite mine. It is narrow, unforgiving and short on passing places: the sharp Turn 1–2 chicane was built as a Monza-style overtaking spot, and that is where touring cars settle their arguments here. Martin Kadlečík (Aditis Racing) arrived from Grobnik with a double win, but Salzburgring belonged to reigning champion Adam Kout, who took pole and two victories before Kadlečík struck back in the red-flagged finale. The two Czechs go to Most trading blows at the top of the standings, with Žarko Knego (AK Dubrovnik Racing) and Jiří Zbožínek (Hyundai Janík Motorsport) ready to profit from any mistake. Last year at Most the same pair split the two wins — one each.
