Drag racing in Japan is almost a forgotten art in this day and age. Every time we come back here, we’re reminded of that. The passion is still here, but the ecosystem is fragile. Tracks closing, fewer cars, fewer chances to keep this culture moving forward. Yet year after year, this community keeps showing up. People like Yuji Nagao of Drag Festival, continue to do everything they can to help this scene flourish in a way it hasn’t in many years.
