TOP FUEL DRAGSTERS & NITRO FUNNY CARS
Watch the fastest accelerating machines on earth. Pushing 5 G’s of force off the starting line, these nitromethane-fueled beasts shatter the 300 MPH barrier. The Top Fuel dragsters hit an astonishing 336 MPH in just 3.62 seconds over the 1,000-foot track. The Nitro Funny Cars, featuring custom-fabricated chassis and tilt-up carbon fiber bodies, deliver 10,000 horsepower and rocket down the strip at 339 MPH. The sheer intensity of these machines makes every pass an unforgettable spectacle.
PRO MODIFIED (PRO MODS)
These are the fastest door-slammers in drag racing. Purpose-built drag racers designed to resemble classic muscle cars, these machines feature superchargers, turbochargers, and nitrous oxide to generate immense power. Blistering down the track at over 400 kilometers per hour, Pro Mods combine nostalgic style with cutting-edge engineering. From flame-painted Camaros to blacked-out Novas, the Pro Mod class is a fan favorite for raw, unpredictable quarter-mile action.
JET TRUCKS & JET CARS
Feel the heat from the absolute extreme of motorsports engineering. Rick “Hollywood” Kopp pilots the Bone Shaker, a custom-built 1981 International Transtar race truck packing a J79 General Electric Turbo Jet Engine. Originally designed for fighter aircraft, this engine generates 36,000 pounds of thrust and 18,000 horsepower. Joining the jet exhibition is Neale Armstrong in the Northern Warrior, a 300-MPH self-designed jet dragster powered by an F-5 Fighter Jet engine.
NOSTALGIA GASSERS & FUNNY CAR MATCH RACES
Step back into the golden era of drag racing. The True North and AA/Gasser classes deliver wild, unpredictable runs with lightweight fiberglass bodies, short wheelbases, and vintage hot rod styling. These crowd-pleasers are known for long, smoky burnouts, aggressive wheel-standing launches, and high-octane 6-second runs that keep the grandstands on their feet.
MODERN MUSCLE, HELLCATS & BRACKET RACING
The foundation of competitive drag racing lives in the bracket and street classes. Watch CJR Hellcats unleash raw, tire-shredding power, filling the Cayuga dragway with thick clouds of smoke. Modern Mustangs, 5th-Gen Camaros, and classic street cars battle it out in dial-in bracket classes where precision, reaction time at the tree, and consistency mean the difference between going home and taking home the trophy.
