One of the Local Grudge Race Hero’s Ray Blakney from back in the 70s. Back when I was a kid Ray Blakney and Willie Simmons race a Plymouth Belvedere named “Soul Stomper”. Ray should be called Mr. Mopar, because he has owned or race more Mopars than anyone I know. On this Sunday afternoon at Piedmont Dragway Ray brought a 1968 Dodge Dart with a 440 and the Gap Sauce. The last race in this video, Ray is racing one of the up and coming Big Dog Superstars Terry Bracken in his Chevy Vega.
