Dany Bernier Dominates East Coast Collision Monster Bulls at XDA Summer Nationals

The East Coast Collision Monster Bulls class delivered no shortage of drama at the 2025 XDA MTC Summer Nationals, held May 16-18 at Virginia Motorsports Park. With a field stacked with grudge racing heavyweights, Canadian rider Dany Bernier aboard Bad Bern fought his way to the top of the ladder, ultimately claiming the coveted Monster Bulls title.

Bernier’s path to victory included advancing out of the semifinals on an earned BYE run before facing off against Kevin Dennis and his ‘Full Coverage’ Suzuki in the final round. Dennis had earlier defeated Howard Gerken (Son of Sam) in a hard-fought semifinal matchup to earn his spot in the money round.

Throughout the weekend, the Monster Bulls class saw fierce first-round battles as riders like Michael Daddio, Dylan Wood, Spencer Claycomb, Dell Jones, Crow Teasley, and Henry Wise fought for a shot at glory. By the end of Saturday night, the bracket had narrowed to the best of the best, with Bernier emerging as the winner of the field.

In the final, Bernier remained composed under pressure as he left the tree hot to take a commanding lead and unleashed another blistering pass to lock down the win over Dennis, cementing his points lead in the Championship chase.

With another W added to his résumé, Bernier will look to carry this momentum into the next stop on the XDA tour—where the bulls will be back and hungry for more.
