For 20 years Terminators have made thousands of passes down drag strips. A handful of them have been 8’s…but none have done it with the factory configuration of a blower, 6 speed, and IRS…That is until today. Dan Watts for the past few years has set his sight on breaking down that barrier, but it had turned out to be no easy task. Most Cobra guys get to the 9’s and swap IRS’s for SRA’s…3rd pedal for a button…and whiners for whistles.

But Dan said no….he was going to do what nobody had the stones to do…go 8’s with the factory layout….and he didn’t care what it would take to do it. So with the help of some friends, he equipped his car with a black magic long style clutch and a faceplated trans and set out to achieve his goal.
