Original Turbo John Mustang is making a comeback! Gathering parts and pieces to get this mustang back running. Still don’t know exactly what we are gonna do with this car, but I cannot wait to have it back running again. This 5.3 LS engine should be perfect for this car though! Gonna be awesome! Thanks Josh at Underground Garage for hooking me up with the engine.

LS Turbo stuff FTW
BTR small bore for the headgaskets.
The stock rod bolts are stronger than the rods themselves.
John, you consider top fuel hoops while you have it at this stage.
I'm confused, you haven't got your car straightened out yet, most times you buy second hand parts because you can't afford new now your building another Car with used old parts, why, it's none of my business I guess.
This should be fun following along with.
It’s about time for a new car never had me
Don't forget that you just caused an LS to go kaboom! Stick with what you know best bro
Well I'll be dipped. I'm gonna subscribe to Josh's channel to keep up on the build from all angles. Can't wait to see this build. Let's friggin go.
Kool ❤
Dannng talkin about budget build. Haha probably faster than some of these $30k motors people put together.
Can't wait for this build!
Ughhhh smdh
Keep the stock rod bolts, no need for the ARP.
Find a head gasket you like and stock up on them.
Glad you're trying something different because it's tough watching your struggles with the car you're in now.
I spun cam bearings in a few 6.0’s. I would replace them while the engine is a bare block.
Seems to me like the old car one more races and more rounds than the new car has So I think that’s a wonderful idea hope the new motor combo works for you
Ever thought of going 7.3L (445 C.I.D.) Godzilla engine?
Oh no John, you are a traitor
I'm doing an ls swap in my foxbody as well. I have a ls 6.0, I'm also using gen 4 rods and stock pistons.
ARP rod bolts are useless
Can’t wait to see it
Whats with all the MT license plates?
John thinks he was going all modern, but 1997 was a few hair cuts ago.
I'll stick with the gen 1 SBC myself. I have no doubt that an Ls is a great foundation, but have seen so many races lost due to crank sensors and cam sensors or other electrical type issues. Gen 1 all you need is one wire to make her run and i love that! Especially if you're just running an HEI, which is plenty good enough for any street car! I have the msd ultimate HEI kit in mine, works great! It was a hair over 200 bucks, but you then have a rev limiter and spark good up to 9000rpms i believe it said.
Bet it's cleaner cause of crybaby nicks tears cleaning up the shit box
IT WILL BE FINE . SEND IT
Hey John if you need anything for your engines just shoot me a message
Ive been telling you for a year or so to get that car back i know it costs money but that thing worked so well on no prep idk how its going to work now that dude stretched the wheel base witch is why fox bodies work so well but hopefully you can make it work again gl
LoSer.
How sad . NOTICE that seemingly like crossbreed is like gay Pride. Makes real men physically sick . ..
L.S. was in the sub that imploded . Lol..
John, Check into BTR 5.3 boost MLS head gaskets. I have had great luck with them and fairly affordable. I believe they have a smaller bore unlike the ls9 meant for 4.065 bore. Ran 22psi for couple years no issues,.
I'm in the army. I got a turbo LS foxbody. I'm very good with tuning, but a new with suspension tuning. If you could help me that would be sick!
once you go ls you never back
I’d skip the ARP rod bolts, I put new OEM bolts in mine and have had zero issues with them!
Show us some talent and make a Ford run better than that
Could you give me the link to Josh's channel.
