I haven't read any of the previous comments, so I think the whole shock problem was that the full gas tank sank the rear end, it wasn't leaking shocks it was empty shocks.

that high oil pressure on crank was the thick lucas oil you added with the engine cold
The cross-connected style of the electro-digikal panel makes me think the previous owner was a telco guy. Both sides of the connections are terminated separately then jumpered between, like you’d wire a 66 or 110 block. Love it.

Definitely the cleanest car I've seen you work on . I don't know how to take this , I love the car and I'm glad it was taken care of but I also like to watch you take vehicles on the brink of total destruction and gettem running again.
