80s Built Chevelle Drag Car – Will It RUN AND DRIVE 450 miles home?

Independence Chevelle is officially retired. Time to find another fighter! The opportunity to own this 10 second street/strip chevelle popped up, and a guy couldn’t say no. Let’s see if we can get it fired back up, and drive it home! This is a garage build drag car from the 80s, and was last ran on the strip in 1988.

  1. ATTENTION: There is no "winner", I won't "hit you up", there is no VGG "telegram". Anyone wanting gas money, shipping money, saying you won something, I'll send you moms cook book for $50, etc. is a SCAM. Please don't fall for it. There's ONE VICE GRIP GARAGE USER ONLY AND IT HAS A GRAY CHECKMARK BEHIND IT! Also, Thank you. Thank you for your loyalty and viewership, it's very much appreciated!

  2. I haven't read any of the previous comments, so I think the whole shock problem was that the full gas tank sank the rear end, it wasn't leaking shocks it was empty shocks.

  3. The cross-connected style of the electro-digikal panel makes me think the previous owner was a telco guy. Both sides of the connections are terminated separately then jumpered between, like you’d wire a 66 or 110 block. Love it.

  4. Definitely the cleanest car I've seen you work on . I don't know how to take this , I love the car and I'm glad it was taken care of but I also like to watch you take vehicles on the brink of total destruction and gettem running again.
Btw , that sound of a cammed worked engine with a nice exhaust setup it's my favorite sound in the world.
