leave it as it is and tweak on it. I'd definitely replace the valve springs though. Maybe work on the timing curve some. Throw some nitrous at it if you're feeling froggy.
Great car, just go back to the original wheels and (new) tyres and add a healthy dose of the happy gas for fun times.
425 rear wheel hp
Those HP numbers sound awfully sus. I mean, you're right, it might not be as built as suspected. I honestly would have expected at least 350/400 hp in there. At any rate, I do think building it just a little bit better than it was/is but staying true would be the way to go. Not a ton of power, but go through all the suspension, transmission, etc tweaks that most of us could probably afford, and not just throw buckets of horsepower on it.
583whp
Ha I was way off!
You are a super positive guy which is awesome, but I think you were hoping for a 10 second car. Build it into what you were hoping and take us along for the ride!!!!
I had a rubber band powered banana cart and it made 7500 hp 10,000 ft. Lbs.
My mind was bottled up with that classic Brooks 'n Dunn song all night! Love ya dude!
Excellent carb tuning segment, that's something not seen much in videos anymore.
475
438 to the tire
definitely tell she's putting out way more power than the dyno indicated …
How accurate is that dyno? Just seemed like there’s no draw on the engine just wide open throttle in 2 seconds, for a 406 I’m confused , when you made the comment on how much HP is it , I said 450/475 Do you believe that portable dyno is accurate?
Stick a coyote in it. Or an ls7/ls9
Something wasn’t right here at all… just the sound of that starter trying to fight the compression tells me it’s spicy.
That torch sounds like it is missing on about 3 cylinders
On one hand, you could just put in some valve springs and see what it does, but on the other hand, a small turbo 6.0/6.2 LS would make an easy 600 hp with a small cam.
Bigger motor for sureeee
