715-HP Pump Gas Godzilla 7.3 Meets The Cyclone! All-Motor and Battle Ready

It’s finally time to show you the amazing 7.3L Godzilla Ford V8 that Brian Wolfe built for our 1968 Mercury Cyclone. We’re thankful to have so many great partners as this Mercury is shaping up to be a beast of a car. Please enjoy the video, Subscribe, and drop us a comment letting us know what you’d like to see on the channel.

  1. That was a great video Evan! I like how you unboxed all the stuff. Very cool. That Godzilla is gonna be so badass. I can't wait to see it running in the car. I love the intake. I always learn alot from your videos even though I have been messin with hotrods and Fords most of my life. Thanks for the great content!

  2. Glad to see the update. I was hoping you’d keep leaf springs. Some Calvert parts slapped on and they work awesome and ride nice too. Can’t wait to hear the motor in the car

  3. We've GOTTA have the tallest stacks sticking up through the hood, Stacey David's 'V8 Interceptor' style! (which similarly had a bitchin' Ford V8 under the hood; a Kaase Boss big block, with the EFI stack intake of course)

  4. Wonderful to see a part of Ford, the FoMoCo part as they use to advertise it in the '60's, still putting out new performance V-8s. It's a mixed message I'm getting from them though because on one hand everything about Ford today screams wokeism, yet they along with everyone else massively support racing, modifying, hotrodding ICE vehicles? It has to be because of the double standard unfair state to state smog laws. Where some states NEVER require a smog check and some, California, are designed to destroy lives by keeping us having to buy new cars all the time or go broke fixing minor but expensive issues

  5. Next to electric computer-controlled cars is so stupid remote control gas pedals. if I bought one of those cars be the first thing I'd rip out of it and throw in the trash a remote control gas pedal. are you f**** kidding me? you know hackable that is? just like the friggin electric electric cars like the Tesla is f**** hackable like you read about anything with that kind of s*** in it hackers decide to send you into a f**** tree you're going into a tree.

  6. That Godzilla is an exact copy cat of Chevys LS engine.
So it should be a good motor.
Just likely Chevy copied Ford when they first made the ls that's a copycat almost of the 351 Cleveland at least in the head area it is.
Dodge seems to be the only ones that's not a copycat

  7. Best video I've seen in a long time for two very cool cars, the 69 Cyclone and that 71 Montego wagon. I absolutely love several things about this video 1. The cars 2. the detail and right to the point 3. You're in Florida. It's hard to even find shops in Florida that do what you guys are doing, and specializing in Ford / Mercury intermediates, almost unheard of. I wish I could be there just to watch you guys work on these two cars. A FYI, as far as my research can determine, the true production car with the most super speedway victories was the 71 Mercury Montego. David Pearson won 15 races in 72'-73' in his 71' Montego. The second Talledega race in 72' had 10 71' Montego's in the race, and one of them won, though Pearson didn't win that particular race. Please tell us what city in Florida you're in, and the name of your shop.
    I have a 70 Montego.

  8. Been following this build since the beginning, it's gona be so bad ass once completed!

I have a 69 Fairlane 500 and been thinking of doing something similar. Like you did for the rear end stuff, are you able to post the part numbers for the front suspension components you used? Please and Thanks!
