I put a dodge motor in a ford truck because the 6.0 left the chat about a week after buying it
Seen a lot of these 7.3 motors in the dealership due to poor oil and camshaft wear. Put some thick stuff in it if you’re gonna beat on it

Better choice would be the old 385 series big block instead. The 460. These things have terrible design flaws that make them blow head gaskets and eat camshafts that the 385 series doesn't have.

The Godzilla is gonna be a beast now that more and more companies are making upgrades for them. At first you couldn't even get stock bearings for them.

Between Texas Speed and Cleetus McFarland , the Mods/Upgrades of when thing break or fail. These engines are amazing, it like a bigger ford version of a GM LS!

Hope you're replacing those trash lifter retainers. My job trashed 3 of them under 40k miles in paratransit busses. Cause was the retainers breaking apart.

I would of saved like 10k and just ran a ls and the installation is much easier have fun shoe horning that thing in the engine bay
